The BCHS Redskin baseball team beat Savannah Country Day 4-3 which included a no-hitter and nine strike-outs from pitcher Wesley Wilkes.
The game was 3-3 going into the eighth inning. But Aaron Dudley singled and eventually made it home when Ricky Myrick nailed a single to give the Redskins the one point advantage and the victory.
"Wesley pitched a great game," said head coach Al Butler. "We only had two errors early in the game, and they were very costly. They almost cost us the game. We hit the ball well all day but just could not push any runners across the plate. Our guys were very deserving of the win as they never gave up. Country Day did not give us an inch, they made us work for the win."
