Richmond Hill High Schools celebrate in background Thursday night after the Wildcats beat Statesboro to win the Region 2-AAAAAA boys' basketball title.

Richmond Hill High School won the boys' Region 2-AAAAAA basketball title on Thursday night, beating host Statesboro 65-57 at Lee Hill Arena.

The win earns the Wildcats (19-3) a No. 1 seed in the upcoming Class AAAAAA boys' basketball tournament.
