Richmond Hill High School rolled to a 41-7 win over Brunswick in the Wildcats' Region 2-AAAAAA opener Friday at Glynn County Stadium.
The Wildcats (3-3, 1-0) led 27-7 at halftime.
Jalen Rouse led RHHS' on the ground with 148 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries. Jamal Polite added two touchdowns and 42 yards on 10 carries.
Luke Carter completed 4 of 7 passes for 71 yards. Matthew Daniel was the top receiver with a 38-yard reception.
Anthony Salazar was 2 o 3 on field goal attempts, hitting from 22 and 48 yards. He was 5 of 5 on extra attempts.
Leo Valle had nine tackles and a tackle for loss for RHHS, which will make a return trip to Brunswick next week to take on Glynn Academy.
Brunswick fell to 1-1 in the region and 3-4 overal.
