Win earns Richmond Hill the Region 2-AAAAAA title

Richmond Hill held off Bradwell Institute 34-24 to win the Region 2-AAAAAA football title Friday night in Hinesville. The win improves the Wildcats to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the region.

Jalen Rouse was named the Plantation Lumber & Hardware Player of the Game for the Wildcats. He rushed for 223 yards and three touchdowns.

Bryan County High School fell to 0-8 with a 56-3 loss to Metter in a Region 2-AA football game Friday night in Pembroke.

The Tigers improved to 8-1 and 5-0 in the region.
