Bryan County had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, but it wasn’t the start they were hoping for. The Redskins lost 11-3 to the South Effingham Mustangs.

Freshman Gunner Ennis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan County will face off against Banks County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Effingham, they will square off against Ringgold at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
