Lady Wildcats fall in Elite 8

Visiting Union Grove (17-2-1) knocked off Richmond Hill High School 4-1 on Saturday in the girls' state Class AAAA soccer playoffs. Sarah Goolsby scored RHHS' only goal off an assist from Kaitlyn Martinson.

"The girls had a great season," RHHS coach Steve Kollman said. "Now we know how close we are."

The Lady Wildcats (14-6) finished in the Elite Eight in only their second year in Class AAAA
