Editor, No doubt, all Georgians are still concerned about the condition of our schools. In spite of the fact that we have many good schools and school systems, our state as a whole still faces many challenges.
I encourage your readers to take a close look at Richard Woods for state school superintendent.
Woods has the educational and business experience needed to lead Georgia’s schools. He has more than 22 years of classroom and administrative experience at the school level, working with students, parents and teachers every day. Woods is a small-business owner and also has been a purchasing agent, managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
While other candidates continue to only focus on the problems with Georgia education, I deeply believe that Woods’ solutions-based plan is what our parents, educators and community deserve.
Woods is from South Georgia and will be a needed voice for us in Atlanta. He is a solid conservative and a man of integrity and wisdom. I strongly recommend him.
