Letter to the editor: Reject Trump's lies and slanders
LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor:

Former president Donald Trump’s disgraceful slander of the good folks (and voting citizens) of Springfield, Ohio -- sadly echoed by his equally despicable mini-me, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, who of all people should know better -- is simply disgusting. But not unexpected, given his long history of spewing lies when he thinks it serves his ego. (That’s all it is ego-serving.).

Neither man has a single ounce of decency, honor, or national pride, despite all the lies they churn out like baseball batting machines.

Neither man has any business being on a national ticket for any position even for dog-catcher. (My apologies to dogs. They deserve better themselves.)

I hope the majority of voters will reject their numerous lies and slanders, and totally reject them at the ballot box this November.

As a country, we are better than this. It is time we showed the entire world we are not so stupid as to be led through the nose by these two PT Barnum charlatans, who are only interested in sucking up our money. And tainting our national honor -- what is left of it.
