In case you missed it, here are the facts. As part of their celebration of “Gay Pride” month, Target decides to stock 2,389 items, including a whole line of queer and transgender clothes for kids. Target places these “Gay Pride” items in the front of the store where moms & kids have to walk by them and see them. Millions of customers are offended, get mad and boycott Target. Target stock shares drop by 14% and lose close to $15 billion in Market Capitalization.
It is painfully obvious now that the leadership of Target Corporation is ignorant and does not understand the market or their customer base!
* Target is ignorant of the fact that Islam, the world’s 2nd largest religion, considers homosexuality evil. By aggressively promoting “Gay Pride” month, Target has just offended 3.45 million Muslims living in the USA.
* Target is ignorant of the fact that Christianity, the world largest religion, teaches that homosexuality is evil. By going against the Bible, Target is attacking the faith of 230 million Americans who are followers of Jesus Christ.
* Offending 65% of your customers is not a good marketing strategy. It makes one wonder if there are no “Christians” at all among the leadership at Target Corporation who can help educate them on the Biblical moral values of the American people.
* If Target leadership would read the Bible, they would discover that “Pride” is listed as the worst of all the sins and should be repented of... not celebrated!
Target isn’t the only corporation to make this huge mistake.
Disney abandoned it’s focus on “Family values” and has since lost $50 billion.
Anheuser-Busch partnered with Transgenderism this spring and lost $27 billion in market value.
* Target should be wise like Publix and the other corporations who are staying out of the Culture Wars. Promoting Evil is not good for profits. Celebrating “Gay Pride” month is a bad idea!
Going “Woke” will cause many to go “Broke!”
