Letter to the editor: Box scores would be great addition to paper
LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Editor

Baseball is a beloved sport in many communities, and box scores are a way for fans to stay up-to-date on the latest games. It can also lead to increased subscriptions and a more vibrant community atmosphere.

I remember when I was a kid, my grandmother would clip out any box score from the newspaper that had my name in it. She would then proudly display it on the refrigerator for all to see. It was a small thing, but it meant a lot to me. It showed me that she was proud of me, and that she was following my progress.

Including youth box scores in the newspaper is a great way to connect with young people and their families. It’s a way to show them that their accomplishments matter, and that they are part of a larger community. It can also help to encourage young people to continue playing sports, and to stay active in their communities.
