Spring is my favorite time of the year, primarily because of the new life displayed through the flowers, plants and trees. I am reminded of the scripture where at the beginning of time, as we know it, God spoke this world with its beauty into existence. Over and over during creation God referred to all of this as being “good”.

This word, from the original language it was written in, actually means perfect or beautiful. So, God is recognizing that the nature He has created can be described as beautiful.

The older I become the more I am conscience of the beauty around me. Being able to view this beauty also gives me another reason to be thankful for my eyesight. I hope you will take the time to take in the beauty that is around you each day and remember also to take the time to give the creator of the universe a big “thank you” for the opportunity to be able to witness it.
