Search underway after man falls in Ogeechee River

There is an active search for a man in the waters of the Ogeechee River in Bryan County.

According to Bryan County Sheriffs' Office, PIO Candace Hunnicutt, a worker who was painting the underside of a bridge at mile marker 91/92 fell into the water.

There are numerous agencies currently looking for the missing man, including Georgia State Patrol, the Coast Guard, and Bryan County Sheriff's Office officials.

More updates will follow as the search continues.
