The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Georgia soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Keith F. Rudd, 36, of Winder died Sept. 10 in Parvan, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained while supporting combat operations. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.
