More than 200 Vanguard Soldiers returned June 23 to Fort Stewart, marking the completion of the brigade’s mission in Iraq.

A ceremony, including the uncasing of the brigade colors, was held at Cottrell Field to signify the end of the brigade's year-long deployment.
