Travelers westbound on Highway 204 will face lane closures and traffic delays at King George Boulevard starting Friday night.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said the work is part of the interchange being constructed there and begins at 9 p.m. Friday. It is expected to last one week.

GDOT urges motorists to seek an alternate route during the lane closure.
