Some 3,900 Bryan County customers remain without power this morning, down from about 4,800 Monday night.
About 2,100 Coastal Electric and Georgia Power customers in South Bryan were without power as of 9 a.m. That number stood at 3,500 Monday evening.
Another 1,000 Georgia Power customers in North Bryan remain without electricity, plus another 800 Canoochee EMC customers in North Bryan.
Officials are asking those who evacuated not to return until Gov. Deal lifts his mandatory evacuation order, which began Saturday for all residents east of I-95. Law enforcement asks that those who remained stay off the roads so power crews have easier access to area where they need to fix or replace lines.
