A Wednesday afternoon wreck on Highway 119 on Fort Stewart has left one man dead and caused two other injuries, according to Fort Stewart spokesman Kevin Larson.

The victim’s identity has not been released but he is not military or affiliated with the military, Larson said.

The two-vehicle accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. inside Bryan County, about a mile from the post’s boundary. Military police are investigating. Bryan County Sheriff’s Department deputies were on scene, Larson said.

The wreck has temporarily blocked 119 on post from Bryan County to where it intersects with 144.
