The Richmond Hill Lions Club invited groups in the Richmond Hill Middle School to participate in a special international peace poster art contest for children age 9-11.

The 2022-2023 contest theme is “Lead with Compassion.” Participating children were asked to express their vision of the peaceful future that compassionate leadership brings.

Two students from Richmond Hill Middle School won the contest for their school group. The winners were Noah McWhorter, representing the 6th grade STEAM class and Erin Haynes, representing the RHMC Art and Design Club.

The winners were awarded a Certificate of Achievement and gift cards to the Ice Cream Stop. Their peace posters will now go to the district competition.
