Hyundai Hope donated $25,000 to SafeKids and Children's Hospital of Savannah on Friday, Sept. 8. The donation will help  support car seat checks, free car seats and education workshops.  SafeKids and the Children’s Hospital of Savannah will be at the rescheduled Kid Safety Day at J.F. Gregory Park, which has been rescheduled  to Oct. 8, along with representatives from Hyundai to kick off this partnership by doing car seat checks and giving away car seats to those in need. 

Hyundai Motor Company is building its first electric vehicle plant in the U.S. at the Bryan County Mega-Site, a $5.5 billion investment that is expected to bring 8,100 jobs to the area. The company hopes  to begin production in 2024.
