Canady’s Heating • Air • Plumbing has launched the fifth annual Canady's Coats for Kids drive for the winter season.
The company has partnered with the United Way of the Coastal Empire to collect donations of new, unused coats for infants to 17 years old.
“We’re excited to celebrate the fifth year of our Canady’s Coats for Kids Campaign,” Fred Canady, founder of Canady’s Heating • Air • Plumbing, said. “Each year, the community has been so generous in donating new coats for children in need in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties.”
The Canady's Coats for Kids Campaign kicked off on Monday, December 2 and runs through Thursday, January 2, 2025. Canady's will deliver the coats for distribution to the United Way of the Coastal Empire on Tuesday, January 7. The United Way of the Coastal Empire will distribute the coats to member agencies serving children in need.
Canady’s Coats for Kids has donation sites at Belk at Oglethorpe Mall, Canady’s offices on Wilmington Island and in Richmond Hill, and several United Way locations. Collection boxes are inside each donation site’s lobby from Monday, December 2, 2024 through Thursday, January 2, 2025. For more information, please go to Canadys.com.
