Bryan County COVID-19 cases confirmed by the Coastal Health District at 3 p.m. Wednesday: 

Cases last two weeks: 738 

Confirmed cases total: 6,529

 Total population: 39,137

 Cases per 100K: 16,682 

Cases per 100K last two weeks: 1,886 

Deaths: 67 confirmed, 13 probable 

Hospitalizations: 366

Bryan County Schools COVID-19 numbers for Jan. 24-28:

•Elementary schools (6): 117 positive students/

staff out of 5,365 total population in six schools, a ratio of .021.

• Middle schools (2): 36 positive students/staff out of a total population of 2,721 in two schools, a .013 positivity ratio.

• High schools (2): 53 positive students/staff out of a population of 3,399 at two high schools, a .015 ratio.
