Chamber announces resignation of CEO Johnson

In a letter to its members Thursday, the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce announced the resignation of CEO Kathryn Johnson.

The chamber wished Johnson "much success in her future endeavors as we search for the new dynamic individual to fill the position that will lead us in an incredible future fulfilling the mission and strategic vision for growing business in Bryan County."

Johnson's last day with the chamber will be Jan. 27.

Johnson shared the following message with members:

“It has been a true honor to serve our membership and this community as CEO of the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce for the last three and a half years. Being part of a such a wonderful organization and seeing the growth and development has been such a joy. As I reflect on my time with the RHBC Chamber, I have nothing but gratitude for our Board of Directors, staff, ambassadors, community partners, and members. I am grateful for their support, encouragement, and hard work, that has made the Chamber the success it is today. It has been an incredible experience and I am excited for the next individual who will lead our Chamber to an even greater level of success. I am sure you will give them the same support you’ve given me. The RHBC Chamber will always hold a dear place in my heart, and I look forward to witnessing its continued success."
