Richmond Hill will host the fifth annual National Night Out from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 1 in J.F. Gregory Park.
Vendors interested in participating need to fill out an information sheet and pay a $30 fee.

Last year’s event drew more than 2,000 people.
This year’s event has free rides, raffles and games planned, as well as a hot-dog eating contest.
There also will be safety displays, a martial-arts demonstration and face painting.
Local band Dr. Dan and the Looters are scheduled to perform.
