Feb 24

Improper parking

• A red Jeep Wrangler was improperly parked on Cranston Bluff Rd. Vehicle was towed. - speeding, no driver’s license, windshield/wiper requirements not met 

• A white 2007 Ford van was speeding on I-95 South, going 88 mph in a 70 mph zone. Driver did not have a valid driver’s license.

Harassing communications 

• The co-owner of a home reports that his fellow co-owner and tenant has been sending him harassing text messages as of late

Verbal dispute

• The General Manager at Pilot Convenience Store and an employee reports threatening messages from an ex-employee in a work group chat. 

Theft by deception

• Woman reports being scammed on Facebook, via a friend’s hacked account.

Animal complaint

• Woman reports that three dogs attacked her dog while she was walking along Tivoli Marsh Rd. The dogs were described as follows:

 • One all-black, medium-sized dog

• One smaller, brown dog

• One larger, tan and brown dog, which appeared to be the most aggressive. 

Harassing communications

 •Deputies dispatched to Blitchton Dollar General in reference to harassing communications.

Feb 25

No driver’s license/ unlicensed operator

 • Man found operating vehicle with no license or registration. Vehicle towed.

Driving while license suspended or revoked 

• Man driving a black Dodge Caliber along Hwy 17 South was found to have been driving with a suspended license.

Headlight requirements

• Car with a single headlight on was stopped, driver found to not have license. Man arrested, car towed. 

No insurance, abandoned vehicle with no insurance 

• Deputies were dispatched to Carlos Cowart Road at Ga 204 for a suspicious vehicle with a chair on top of it. A maroon Chevrolet Trailblazer had its doors locked; the license plate scan revealed that there is no active insurance on the vehicle. Car was towed.
