April 4: damage to property

• Suspect borrowed a vehicle from someone without prior permission; later lost control of the vehicle while driving and it went into a ditch. Complainant did not want to press charges; Both neighbors decided to work things out themselves.

April 4: speeding, suspended license, marijuana possession

 • Driver went 89 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone. Driver had a suspended license, and was in possession of marijuana in the vehicle.

April 4: Cocaine

• Head of safety at Hyundai Mobis found a white powder substance near the restroom, which was tested positive for cocaine by deputies.

April 4: abandoned vehicle

• Deputy responds to a call about an abandoned utility trailer. e complainant advised she has asked everyone in the area if the trailer belongs to any of them. e trailer was in the middle of the roadway causing a tra.c hazard. e trailer did not have a license plate nor a VIN number. Trailer was towed.

April 4: driving with suspended license, speeding

 • Driver went 89 mph in a 70 mph zone. e driver also had a suspended license from Florida.

April 5: dumping/depositing of litter

• Deputy responds to a call regarding trash that had been dumped at Bryan Hunting Club on Little Creek Rd.

April 5: DUI (alcohol), failure to maintain lane 

• Deputies were dispatched to the area of Kilkenny Road and Fanny Slew Trail in reference to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision. e driver was intoxicated.

April 6: Theft by deception - misdemeanor

• Woman reports that she received a call from someone claiming to be with the Bryan County Sheriff 's Office caller stated that a jury summons for her was signed and that she now has a warrant for her arrest due to failure to appear. e caller told her that it would be a "mobile escort" and that she needed to stay on the line. While on the phone with the unidenti4ed man, the victim was instructed to withdraw $800 in cash and then put that money onto a "Green Dot" gift card. The victim was instructed to verbalize the card number and pin that is on the back and to then take the gi8 cards to the Bryan County Administrative Building.

 April 7: Simple assault

• Deputies responded to a domestic incident involving a weapon.

April 7: Missing tag lights, no driver’s license

• A car traveling on Hwy 280 near Black Creek Church Road was driving with an inoperable tag light. e driver did not have a driver's license.
