Mar 7: Civil Matter

• Man reports that a woman has broken her no-contact court order with another person.

Mar 7: Lost/mislaid property

• Man who went fishing at Ft. McAllister reports that his wallet went missing.

Mar 7: Warrant executed

• Warrant executed for a woman wanted in Bryan County, found under the Pooler Police Department.

Mar 7: Damage to property

• Man reports that as he was driving westbound on SR-404, a semi-truck with a flatbed trailer had a 2x4 fall out, hitting his vehicle and another. The damage on the man’s truck included: roof, driver-side window, grill, front bumper, and passenger side door. The complainant was not injured, and the truck was still drivable. 

Mar 8: DUI, missing headlight requirements, no drivers’ license 

• Deputy sees a vehicle driving eastbound on Hwy 280, with the passenger side headlight not illuminated. Traffic stop conducted; driver said he did not have a license, alcoholic beverages present in vehicle.

Mar 8: Affray

• A physical fight was reported at the Love’s Travel stop on Highway 280.Tensions later calmed; both individuals went home without incident.

Mar 9: Warrant executed

• Plate reader noted a tag; the registered owner in question had a warrant out for his arrest. Traffic stop was initiated; the man was not the driver but the passenger. The deputy gave all his property to his wife at his wishes, with the exception of his phone and paper license. The man was arrested and transported to Bryan County Jail.

Mar 9: speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked 

• Traffic stop conducted on truck driving at 62 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

Mar 10: Arson, third degree 

• Park Manager at Duval Henderson Park reports that around midnight on March 8, unknown juveniles were seen entering and exiting the bathroom near the tennis court and subsequently left that bathroom on fire. The mounted toilet paper holder and the hand paper towel dispenser had been set ablaze, leaving behind residue on the floor, toilet bowl, and sink. The Park Manager mentioned that this was part of an ongoing issue with unknown juveniles, who had never been caught in the act. To address this, they installed two cameras that captured the incident. He indicated that his supervisor had viewed the video and wanted to forward it to the police.

Mar 10: Lost/mislaid property

• Woman reports that her registration tag, which she paid for on February 2rd of this year, has not come in the mail yet.

Mar 10: Open door

• Deputies respond to the Dollar General on Hwy 280. The rear door to the business was open, but no workers were around. Deputy stayed around until a store key holder arrived to secure the store.

Mar 10: Verbal dispute

• Deputies respond to a dispute between ex-partners.

Mar 10: warrant executed, suspicious incident

• Deputies dispatched in reference to a possible fight. Man reports that he was not fighting anyone, he was just angry and frustrated. The complainant had an active warrant on him, so was arrested.

Mar 11: Lost/mislaid property

• Woman reports that the registration tag she ordered on Feb 11th of this year has not been received yet.
