Jeff Whitten is managing editor of Bryan County News. A South Carolina native who has lived in the Coastal Empire since the mid-1980s, Whitten is an Army veteran, Georgia Southern graduate and proud fan of both the Eagles and the South Carolina Fighting Gamecocks. Apart from a one-year stint with the Moultrie Observer, he has worked for Morris Multimedia since 1995 and has worked at either the Courier or News in various editorial roles for nearly two decades.
