Rachel Gregory, graduating senior at Richmond Hill High School, was announced as this year's recipient of the 2024 Katie Brookshire Memorial Scholarship.

Sharon Brookshire said: “The Brookshire family is proud to announce the recipient of the 2024 Katie Brookshire Memorial Scholarship, Rachel Gregory. This young lady possesses all the Katie like qualities we look for. Most endearing was her sweet sweet spirit! 'Sweet, sweet spirit' was chosen to be sung at Katie’s home going service 24 years ago because it attested to her spirit filled life and the sweet sweet spirit she embodied. This young lady gave us all the feels and is so deserving. In spite of adversity, she has excelled and exceeded expectations. Thank you Rachel Gregory for our time of remembrance.”
