A welcome from the superintendent

Dear Bryan County parents and students:

With the end of summer quickly approaching, I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends and taking some time to relax and recharge as we prepare for a new school year!

On Aug. 6, the first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year, more than 1,250 Bryan County Schools employees will eagerly await the arrival of almost 9,600 students.

As our school district continues to experience unprecedented student growth, the entire Bryan County Schools team stays committed to our goal of excellence.

From our principals actively recruiting and hiring the very best educators, to our maintenance and custodial staff preparing the facilities, we are all working hard to make sure everything is prepared so that our students can have the best academic year yet.

Bryan County Schools has a long standing reputation of excellence in education, and with a strong partnership between the schools, home and our community we will continue to achieve great things.

Up to date information throughout the school year will be provided on our Bryan County Schools website at www.bryancountyschools.org and our Bryan County Schools Facebook page. I encourage you to refer to these resources often to stay informed about what is happening in our schools.

Best wishes for your remaining days of summer! We look forward to seeing you all on Aug. 6.

Sincerely, Paul T. Brooksher, Ph.D. Superintendent
