TANZANIA I've never been on a safari, but my guess is most people go on them to get an up-close look at animals in the wild.

But what if the animals actually want to get an up-close look at you in the wild?

That's what apparently happened in this video, which has gone viral this week. In the video, a cheetah is seen chilling and just casually looking around while hanging onto a seat in a Land Cruiser. Despite that sounding like a terrifying situation, the people in the vehicle look pretty calm and handled the encounter like pros.

According to CNN, Britton Hayes was on a safari with his step-uncle in the Serengeti in Tanzania when a cheetah hopped into their vehicle. The cheetah was one of three brothers the group had been observing, but it sounds like the cheetah got curious and wanted to do some observing of his own. Can you blame him, though?

Hayes said the group's safari guide told them to remain calm, stay quiet and to avoid making eye contact with the cheetah, and after about 10 minutes, the cheetah wandered off.

Props to the guide for keeping everyone calm in this situation because I know if I were in a tiny, almost enclosed space with a cheetah, I'd be having a mini panic attack even if the guide did insist there was no real danger.
