ADVENTURE LAND Disney is slowly taking over the world. First it bought Pixar, then Marvel, and most recently LucasFilms and the rights to "Star Wars."
Disney has been busy, busy, busy with getting new "Star Wars" films up and running and many of us forgot in the hustle and bustle that the rights to Indiana Jones came along with the LucasFilms purchase.
Thankfully, or not thankfully depending on how you look at it, we will be getting more Dr. Jones.
LucasFilms president Kathleen Kennedy spoke to Variety and told the magazine that an Indy 5 movie will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, Im not quite sure. We havent started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.
That seems like good news and bad news. Good news because we love seeing Indy in action; bad news because it may be a ways off. Also bad news if they feel "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was a good movie and try to do more of that.
What do you think of the news? Are you excited about another adventure with Dr. Jones, or does it make you dread the fact that all we get from Hollywood these days are remakes and sequels?
