Dr. Mark Linsky, who heads the foreign language department at Richmond Hill High School, has been named the Teacher of the Month for January at RHHS.
“Dr. Mark Linsky always takes his time to not only help his students, but also help his peers, offering constructive feedback and assistance, especially with integrating technology into the classroom,” said English teacher Aimee Taylor. “He takes on a myriad of responsibilities as well, sponsoring clubs, leading training, serving as department chair and more. He epitomizes both dedication and professionalism, serving as a positive role model daily.”
The Teacher of the Month program is designed by the Teacher Appreciation Committee and school administration to recognize outstanding teachers for their contributions to the school, excellence in the classroom, leadership, innovation, community, involvement, dedication and work on behalf of RHHS students.
Each month, the Teacher Appreciation Committee and Administration will recognize one teacher from Richmond Hill High School. Nominations may be submitted by the school faculty in hopes to eventually be able to get the students involved in the nomination process, as well.
